Learning to Write an Effective Essay: For School and for Tests (high school students)

Learn To Write An Exceptional Essay!

Writing a well-organized, thoughtfully constructed essay is integral to student success throughout high school and college. This class will focus on the fundamental structure of a well-written essay, teaching students how to construct a thesis and then develop an essay adhering to that thesis, how to select and incorporate details to support an argument, and how to write effective introductions and conclusions. Please note, this is not the college essay writing workshop. The high school course (for rising 9, 10, 11 and 12th graders) will be offered June 13, 14 and 15 from 9-11am and will be taught by Mary Beth Hall. Cost is $175.
