English Instructor. Deanna Gordon is a retired English teacher and school administrator. Deanna earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English at the University of West Florida and worked at Pensacola High School for 36 years, teaching International Baccalaureate English from the inception of the program at PHS and finishing her career there as coordinator of the IB program. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher. Courses taught include honors, IB higher level English, advanced writing, journalism, and inquiry skills. Deanna’s children attended University of Florida (attorney) and Florida State University (art teacher).
