Amy Parker taught Advanced Placement United States History teacher at Gulf Breeze High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from The University of West Florida; the focus of her studies was political science, religious studies, and history with a minor in women’s studies. She also holds a master’s degree in American History and Government from Ashland University where she was awarded the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Thesis. She has won multiple local, state, and national awards for innovation in the classroom and represents Florida as a James Madison Fellow.
