Susan Smart is a veteran teacher with over 25 years of experience in the field of Language Arts. She has taught multiple levels and ages from 5th grade through 12th grade. Her experience ranges from teaching at Creative Learning Academy, Episcopal Day School, and Pensacola High School where she spent 12 years teaching in the International Baccalaureate Program. She continues to be a diploma examiner for Cardiff, Wales (headquarters for IB) grading language and literature papers, specifically written tasks and paper 2. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English and earned her M.Ed in education from University of West Florida. She will retire at the end of this year, and plans to continue working with various levels of students with a concentration in writing skills, grammar mastery, literature, and test taking strategies. She is an avid traveler and enjoys working with all levels of students in need of help with Language Arts.
