Charley Young

Charley graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Pensacola High School where she received the IB Diploma as well as the Mark Pinnell Memorial Scholarship for excellence in English and a foreign language (French). Charley also received the highest grade in her IB graduating class for both the IB Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge essay. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Vassar College, double-majoring in French and Francophone Studies and Drama. She also minored in Art History. Charley went on to complete her first master’s degree at Dartmouth College where she received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, analyzing the entertainment industry from historical, business, legal, and creative perspectives. Charley received a second master’s degree in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. She has tutored online and in New York and Florida, specializing in English and French grammar, ACT/SAT verbal prep, and essay writing. Outside of tutoring, Charley is a recording artist and filmmaker. She loves to connect with people and help make learning easier, more engaging, and fun.
